What does Cruise cover?
Our standard travel insurance covers you if you are on a cruise, but the Cruise Cover upgrade provides enhanced cover specifically for cruise trips. This can include cover for all the holiday essentials such as lost luggage and medical expenses as well as:
- itinerary disruptions, such as missing a scheduled port stop
- cabin confinement due to accident or illness
- being unable to take part in a planned excursion due to illness or injury
How does Cruise Cover insurance work?
Available on both single trip and annual multi-trip policies, adding this additional cover is simple. Just ask us to add on the cruise cover when you call us for a quote or select Cruise cover during the quote process online.
We’ll tailor your cover to the duration of your trip and the countries you’ll be visiting. It’s also important to disclose any pre-existing medical conditions, as failing to do so could affect future claims or reduce payouts.
Exclusions, sub-limits and excesses may apply. For the full table of cover limits and any extra cover conditions check the policy wording.
What is included in Cruise Cover
We have three cover levels for you to choose from, depending on the level of protection you want for your next trip – Bronze, Silver and Gold.
To buy travel insurance you must be 18 or older, live in the UK (excluding Channel Islands and the Isle of Man) and you must buy it before your trip has started.
Cover limits on the table show the most that can be claimed for Cruise cover and apply to each insured trip separately. For full details of the Cruise cover check the policy wording..
