What does our Lifetime Pet Insurance cover?
Need to make a claim? Depending on your chosen cover, you can access £2,500, £5,000 or £10,000 each year to help with vet bills for your cat or dog. - One-off illnesses or accidents – for example, if your pet is injured or develops a short-term illness.

The key benefit is that your annual cover limit resets every policy year, allowing you to continue claiming for the same condition year after year without worrying that your protection is running out.
For example, if your pet develops a long-term condition after you’ve taken out the policy, you can claim up to £10,000 in vet fees each year for that condition. This support is available for the entire lifetime of your pet, provided your policy remains active.

What isn’t covered by Lifetime Pet Insurance?
Unfortunately, we can’t cover every eventuality and there are some exclusions to our policies, as there are with all pet insurance products out there. Some of them are outlined below, but for a complete list, please refer to the policy wording:
- Any injuries which your pet suffers in the first 48 hours after the start date of your policy.
- Any illness which arises in the first 14 days after the start date of your policy.
Did you know? If you switch to Morrisons Pet Insurance from another provider and can prove your previous cover runs up to the policy start date, your pet enjoys immediate cover, including protection against injuries within the first 48 hours and illnesses arising in the first 14 days.

- This offer is only available when you quote and buy a new pet insurance policy direct from Morrisons (pet-insurance.morrisons.com).
